“INFORMATION ON SHIPS” ISIS 2008

to be held on September 18 – 19, 2008 in Hamburg, Germany.

„INFORMATION ON SHIPS“ 

will address the benefits and challengers of up-to-date information technologies on-board of ships, the proper use of information, practical experience using new information systems and the role of man in the information-loaded environment. Technologies, applications, pilot projects and visions will be presented.

The fee includes participation in the symposium, documentation, lunches, soft drinks and coffee during breaks and participation in the Symposium Dinner.

Exhibition

Standard space 2m x 3m 700,-- € (Members of DGON); 900,-- € others.
The exhibition fee includes rental of the space for the duration of the symposium and
the symposium fee for one person.

Cancellation / Refund Policy

Cancellation must be made in writing. No refund will be made for cancellations after  September 01, 2008. For cancellations received prior to this date the symposium fee will be refunded, deducting 40,00 € handling charge.

The registration may be transferred.

Arriving by car via motorway

A 7:
Leave the A7 at the exit "HH-Othmarschen", follow"Behringstraße", "Barnerstraße"and "Julius-Leber-Straße", at the end turn right into the "Max-Brauer-Allee". Remain on this street until you reach "Ottenser Marktplatz".Then turn left into the "Königsstraße", follow the street you will get directly to the street "Reeperbahn". When approaching "Millerntorplatz" first turn right into "Zirkusweg"then at the end, turn left into "Seewartenstraße".

A 1:
You drive from the A1 onto the A255 and crossing the "Elbbrücken", you will reach
"Billhorner-Brücken-Straße". Then turn left into "Amsinckstraße"and drive through the "Deichtortunnel"onto "Ost-West-Straße". Follow the street and continuing on "Ludwig-Erhard-Straße". Turn left into "Zeughaus-straße" and follow the "Neumayerstraße". At theend turn right into"Seewartenstraße".

A 24:
You drive the A 24 until the end ("HH-Jenfeld"). Leave the roundabout second possibility. The street name is "Sievekingsallee". Follow the street and continuing on "Bürgerweide". Turn right into "Spaldingstraße" and follow the road B4, "Deichtortunnel". Then turn half right in B4 "Ost-West-Straße". Now turn left in "Neumayerstraße"and follow the street. At theend turn right into"Seewartenstraße".

 

Arriving by public transport

From “Hamburg Hauptbahnhof”, main station:
Either take the tramway S1 in direction "Wedel"or the tramway S3 in direction "Pinneberg"and get off at "Landungsbrücken". Exit the station by following the signs "Landungsbrücken". On leaving the station you will see the hotel on the right hand side. A flight of stairs just below the building will take you upstairs to the hotel.

From “Fuhlsbüttel”-Airport:
Take the bus-shuttle "Airport Express"to the train station "Ohlsdorf". From here the tramway S1 in direction "Wedel"will take you to "Landungs-brücken" (see abow).
